My Approach

My approach is grounded in Neuroscience research and Attachment Theory; I work on the premise that we are wounded within the context of relationship and we heal within relationship.

I integrate different theories and approaches as I seek to respond to the needs of each individual. I am particularly influenced by Internal Family Systems Theory (IFS), and Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment (TIST).

I am a certified NARM Master Therapist. NARM (The NeuroAffective Relational Model) is specifically designed for working with Complex Trauma by addressing the attachment patterns that cause life-long psychobiological symptoms and interpersonal difficulties.

‘The spontaneous movement in all of us is toward connection, health, and aliveness. No matter how withdrawn and isolated we have become... on the deepest level, just as a plant spontaneously moves towards sunlight is in each of us an impulse moving toward connection and healing' Laurence Heller
