ABOUT ME
I am a Clinical Counsellor, Trauma Therapist and Art Therapy Clinician. I have also trained in play therapy specifically designed to address the impact of trauma. I am an instructor with two art therapy institutes: KATI (Kutenai Art Therapy Institute) and CiiAT (Canadian International Institute of Art Therapy.) I also work as an MCFD Art Therapy Clinician, providing group therapy for parents and teens.
I am committed to journeying alongside individuals in working through the challenges of life. I believe that discovering hope and meaning amidst pain and confusion can lead to greater wholeness and freedom.
My core values include compassion, respect and kindness. I offer a caring, safe, non-judgmental space to explore difficulties and support healing, believing that each individual needs to be seen, heard and validated. I believe empowerment and connection are key to the healing process.
I have experience in working with adults, teens and children within both a group and individual context.
I am passionate about working with marginalized populations, survivors of human trafficking and those with mental health diagnoses.
